  • Open the drain and allow all used oil to flow out completely

  • The calibration fluid tank can be drained via the delivery pump and pump supply line
  • Typical tank capacity is approximately 50 litres

  • Clean the fuel tank and filter with kerosene
  • This removes residual contaminants, sludge, and old fluid deposits

  • Keep the oil tank well sealed to prevent other oils, water, and dirt from penetrating the hydraulic CVT

Cleaning the Suction Strainer

  • The suction strainer in the test oil tank should be cleaned whenever the fluid is changed
  • Remove the strainer and rinse it thoroughly
  • Inspect for damage and replace if necessary

Replacing the Calibration Fluid Filter

  • Make sure the sealing surface on the new test oil filter is clean
  • Lubricate the sealing ring and threads of the new filter
  • Fill the new filter with fresh test oil before installation—this prevents air from entering the system
